Résumé (FR)
Il s’agit de mettre en évidence le fait que le terme itn est à comprendre comme un objet en trois dimensions, que nous le considérions comme une sphère dans un contexte mathématique ou comme l’astre solaire en tant que globe (solaire) dans un contexte religieux.
Nous pensons que ce parallélisme permet de conclure que la traduction du terme itn par « disque » est définitivement inadéquate et trop réductrice. Il conviendrait mieux de traduire exclusivement par « astre », « globe » ou « sphère ».

The 10th problem of the Moscou Papyrus and the third dimension of the word itn
Abstract (EN)
The goal is to highlight the fact that the word itn is to be understood as an object in three dimensions, as we regard it as a sphere in a mathematical context or as the solar star as a (solar) globe in a religious context.
We think that this parallelism enables us to reach the conclusion that the translation of the term itn by "disc" is definitely inadequate and too simplistic. It would be better to translate it exclusively by "star", "globe" or "sphere".
